There is a big difference between a STAR and a PLANET, I suggest if you do not know the difference you should take a fourth grade science class. As for stars falling, just where and how are they going to fall. Are they going to fall upon the earth? Seeing how our Sun is the closest start to us, just a mere 98 million miles from Earth and a little over 1 million earth could fit inside our sun, so just who is going to fall on who. I think that maybe Allah gave Mohammad some bad information.

And so did Hegel. At the same time he gives Hitler good information and he doesn't listen. Inductively it may be that Mohammed wasn't always like a true prophet.

God says in the Holy Qur'an(1) By the star when it descends
(2) Your companion [Muhammad] has not strayed, nor has he erred
(3) Nor does he speak from [his own] inclination
(4) It is not but a revelation revealed
(5) Taught to him by one intense in strength النجم

You should know by now that you can not use the Quran to prove the Quran, it doesn't work, just like you can not use the Bible to prove the Bible. Now if you can find some valid information outside of Islam that proves Muhammad has never erred and is a true prophet, I might listen to you.

Dear brother, your question is very important and is given the opportunity for all people to benefit

Holy Qur'an revealed to Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him by the Messenger of God of revelation. Jibreel
Jaahili that time era when there were no people has to do with astronomy, galaxies and also for the bacteria that cause serious diseases, as well as the depths of the sea and the objects of the different waves of the sea and the darkness in it

So my question to you and to those who went with me.

How do you know Muhammad peace be upon him all the medical sciences, physical, chemical, and humanitarian, psychological, social, economic, and he does not know how to read or write and lives in the desert?

Is not that proof that he is the Messenger of Allah like the rest of the Apostles Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and the rest of the prophets, peace be upon them all

Only God guided you to the right

There is nothing in Koran that is particularly remarkable scientifically. It's not as though it revealed anything scientifically profound.

To my knowledge, there's never been a big medical cure discovered or a rule of physics uncovered because of a revelation in the koran.

You can take the knowledge revealed to you in the Koran right now and make no significant scientific advance.

Look at the history of science, and name one advance made because someone interpreted the Koran.

francan !!! ... Interesting

Thanks for taking the time to enlighten some of us on the facinating subject of the Qur'an !

Your obvious knowledge of this subject and great patience with some of the rudeness of fellow CDFer's is most refreshing !

Keep up the good work ! ..... Cheers / Old Sgt. Lamar

I agree! Both islam and christianity work from the assumption that there is some sort of god out there. This assumption is without proof, because of which they are called "belief structures", not "knowledge".

There is nothing in the Holy Quran that shows it is supernatural, the same as the Bible. A serious historical analysis would show it as product of its time as well as the Bible. Nothing new here, same old same old religious tropes
