Each Prophet(PBUT) could make the same claim as each Prophet(PBUT) had the same message. at the time of each prophet(PBUT) they were the only ones carrying the true word of God(swt).

When Jesus(as) was teaching the Injil, he was the only living person who was teaching the true message. At that time only he had the true teachings from God(swt).

In the same way after the injil was replaced by Christianity, no man had the Truth until it was given one last time to Muhammad(PBUH) Same message that was always given and this time we know it is the last time mankind will ever receive it. We had best not mess up again.

This is because Jesus (salam be to him) invited people to God alone, according to the First and most important of all the Commandments.

And he brought the instructions and orders from God; therefore, anyone who followed him, certainly will go to Paradise or heaven in the neighborhood of God Most Gracious.

Prophet Mohammed also was commanded to say such a thing to people.
See this in the Quran 3: 31

The explanation:
(Say [Mohammed, to those disbelievers who claim loving God:]

"If you [indeed] were loving God, follow me [concerning the monotheism], then God will love you and forgive you your sins;

for God is Most Forgiving [and] Most Merciful.")

6 - The apostles and prophets are the servants of God:
They do not know the knowledge of the forefutur, neither do they know where the treasures hidden.

This is in the Quran 6: 50

The explanation:
(Say [O Mohammed, to these non-believers]:

"I tell you not that with me are the treasuries of [the mercy of] God [so that I can work miracles like those of Jesus who cured the congenitally-blind and the albino and revived the dead],

nor that I know the Unknown,

nor do I tell you that I am angel [like him, because Jesus was an angel that came down from heaven according to God's command, and entered in the body of the fetus inside Mary's womb.]

But I only follow [the commandment] that is revealed to me [from my Lord.]"

Say: "Are the blind [to the way of the truth] and the man seeing [it] equal?

Will you not contemplate [about that?]")

Of course Christians do not say there are three gods: they follow a heavenly religion and they worship One God Almighty.

But the thing is that they have fallen into the enthusiasm: they have associated Jesus with God Almighty and in this way they have fallen in the association: they have associated Jesus Christ - salam be to him - with God Almighty.

They are the top in this enthusiasm among all the people of all the other religions.

Muslims also have fallen in the enthusiasm about their imams and sheikhs: the family of the prophet and his companions. But evenso their enthusiasm has not reached the extent that they consider their imams as god or together with God.

If Muslims keep up in their way of enthusiasm, they may reach to such associating their imams and sheikhs with God.

Sadly my Brother you are correct. We do have among us those who would make saints out of Imams, Prophets and Scholars and do pray to them and do venerate their graves. It is a trap we must avoid or we shall fall into the same sin as the Christians have fallen into. Some of us are a very short step from elevating our Beloved Prophet(PBUH) to being a Christ.

We can learn a great lesson from the Christians and see how easy it is to transfer love for Allaah(swt) into love for a man. Many, probably most Christians do believe they worship only one God(swt), but they fail to see that their actions do in fact separate God(swt) into being three distinct individuals, each different from the other.

7 - The afterlife:

Man lives two lives:
>> One in this life of the World: where he lives with his material body inside which is his ethereal soul;

>> Then when he dies, his body will decay, but his aethereal soul will live for ever in the spirit-world or the afterlife: here he lives with his spiritual or ethereal soul alone without the material body.

Man will live in the spirit world till Doomsday, when the souls will gather in the space of the broken up solar system --> and there the Judgment of the believers, who do not associate with their Lord,

while the idolaters and associaters (who associate others with God) will not be judged, but will go directly to Hell (or Saqar) which is a new sun bigger than the present Sun.

The belief in the next life in the spirit world (called the Barzakh world), then the Judgment then Paradise or Hell: such belief is essential.

This is in the Quran 2: 5
والَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ وَبِالآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ

The explanation:
(And who believe in that which is revealed to you [Mohammed] and that which was revealed before you, and are certain of the afterlife.)

Dear Woodrow LI,
the enthusiasm in loving Jesus or the imam, sheikh or Jewish sage -- comes from the excessive loving:

if you like anyone exceedingly, you will see him perfect without any mistake;
while if you dislike someone you may see him full of mistakes.

So the excessive loving of Jesus and any other man -->
will lead to the enthusiasm which in turn will lead to -->
associating him with God Almighty.

So according to their enthusiasm, they will start to divide their works making that divided to God and to others besides Him: like the expenditure for the sake of imams and God, or maybe for the sake of imams alone; and like the asking of their needs from God and from the sheikhs or imams or their patron saints.

The afterlife intervals:

1- The spirit world (or the Barzkh world): man lives with his spiritual or ethereal soul in this spirit world which starts from the hour of death till Doomsday.
Punishment and prosperity in the Barzakh world

2- The Judgment: which will exclusively be for believers who devote themselves to God alone without associate (idolaters and associaters who associate anyone or anything with God: those will not be judged; but will go directly to Hell.)

The Judgment will only be for the monotheists who devote themselves to God alone without associate, patron or son. This is to give them their grades and ranks in Paradise.
None may enter Paradise in heaven unless after passing the Judgment.
The Judgment and the Requital

3- Paradise: is spiritual and ethereal (The Christ called it in the Gospel: the Kingdom of heavens.)

Two paradises:
One they go to it in the Barzkh world following death and before the Doomsday: it is the Paradise of Refuge.

The other paradise is the Paradise of Everlasting (or the Paradise of Prosperity): which none may enter unless after passing the Judgment.
Paradise (or the Garden)

4- Hell:
Hell is three kinds:
A- The fire of volcanoes, which is the fire of the earth core; to which the guilty and the opponents of God and the apostles will enter immediately following their death.

B- The sun and its gaseous layers: to which the criminals and the leaders of the disbelief will be exposed day and night during the Barzakh world and before Doomsday.

C- Saqar: which is a sun bigger than the present sun: to which the idolaters and assciaters will go following Doomsday.
Hell

This is according to the late inerpreter of the Quran and Bible: Mohammed-Ali Hassan Al-Hilly and his book Man after Death which I translated from Arabic.

The One Who revealed the Torah and the Gospel is the same One Who revealed the Quran.

The Quran confirms the original Toran and the original Gospel, and in particular confirms the Ten Commandments.

8 - Believing in the Quran, the Torah and the Gospel

God revealed the Torah to Moses, the Books of the prophets, the Psalms to David, the Gospel to Jesus and the Quran to Mohammed.

The first books have been altered by people for many reasons and by many ways; but the Quran is the pure preserved word of God.

The Quran is an eloquent fluent Arabic text;
in addition, it is a scientific miracle: including a large number of ayat pertaining to science and explaining many scientific subjects, explaining how the earth will stop spinning, then the events of Doomsday.

Many things have been explained in the book (The Universe and the Quran).

It includes the description of the Judgment, Paradise and Hell and the afterlife. Many of these things have been explained in the book (Man after Death).

Moreover, it includes the law and the story of the prophets and the parables about the exclusive devotion to God alone, and the afterlife and many other subjects.

And in spite of that, it is a concize book that many people know by heart, like they know a piece of poetry.
