in this year discovered the heaven is expanding Physics Nobel Prize 2011 - Brian Schmidt -Seoul Perlmutter and Adam but the Thunderbolt it is in holy quran we know this information Before they are born ALLAH SAID[And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander.] [ And indeed, many among the people, of Our signs, are heedless] [We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness?] every miracle in quran Proof for quran is from GOD /ALLAH/ what you will say to ALLAH when you meet him there is hell forever and paradise forever you have one chance ALLAH SAID [And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. [It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?"
They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray.
Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me.
Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.'

News flash: the universe has been expanding for about 13 billion years, give or take. Leave it to our cutnpastaholic muslims to be a little behind in realizing that fact.

TheoGeek, don't get the age of the Earth confused with the age of the universe, the Earth is about 4 billion years old, the Universe around 13 billion. Now if one subscribes to the "Big Bounce" theory, then the Universe is ageless, but if we are just talking about "this time around" then it is, again, about 13 billion years old.

We have a satellite that is in use today called WMAP (Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe) what this satellite does is measure the current composition of energy and matter density found in the universe and from that they can plug in this info and using Einstein’s theory of General Relativity to compute how fast the universe is expanding, they can reverse the process down to a few "plank time" ( a unit of time to measure the very small) of the "big bang" and therefore giving us a time frame of the universe's age. 13.73 billion years.

OP: the "thunderbolt" is the attempts to link quran to science to show the book is "so progressive, cutting edge" etc. Looks like your religion is suffering from a notion that it is backwards, primitive and outdated, and some in it are trying to do their best by coming up with such far-fetched 'scientific' claims.

Makes for comical reading when the reality and and claimed superiority are so far apart.
