All religions taken without compromising any values is not compatible with Western culture. Even Buddhism, which teaches pacifism would not be compatible with the Western world without compromising certain values.
So Islam, Catholicism, Christianity, Judaism.. all the fundamentalists from those religions are generally outcasts or hated in the Western world.
Of course a religion founded in the 7th century based on the values and knowledge of that era can't be compatible with today's day and age.
Religions should go to the museum, where they belong.
I hear all the time: but the words in the Koran are true. Well, true that is, until you present words that not strictly true, when they suddenly become allegoric, a miracle or a plain wrong translation. And the omnipresent: but the Bible is much worse.
Why, if I present a Muslim a rational answer to their claim and show that the claim is wrong or unwarranted, am I constantly presented with tu quoque fallacies?
No, I do not know of any religion, based on an invisible, super-natural being, which is compatible with today's level of information and knowledge, which is why they are drowning and tearing themselves up from the inside.
