Of the most important ethics called by Islam is the truth, we find that the Quran has praised the truthful, and the people of Mecca nicknamed the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him Saadiq (who always tells the truth) and secretary. Islam prevent lying, Islam called who lies be hypocrisy. True Muslim does not lie, and always tell the truth.

The Messenger of Allah was honest in all his actions and his words; even at a time of fun and humor that some think that it is permissible to lie,

Mohammed , peace be upon him , called, if you guarantee six of yourselves, I will guarantee you Paradise;
( say honesty if occur,
and fulfilled if you promised,
and performed deposits to their owners,
keep your sex organs ,
keep your eyes,
keep your hand

I have not looked it up recently, but I seem to recall the Koran makes it OK to lie to non-Muslims, especially if a matter of faith comes up.

It may be a clerical interpretation whose implementation is wide spread. I seem to recall that it had something to do with Mohammed's side kick saying something about some treaty that was suppose to last ten years, and for what ever reason, it was OK to break it after two.

What you refer to is called taqiya, but it is only to be used when your physical limbs are in trouble in something like torture. The Qur'an and hadith have plentiful verses supporting this. It is not to be used for political reasons or to attract more people to the religion just because they think it is "nicer." I don't have the link, but I remember a CNN article a couple of years ago that stated even Bin Laden warned his followers to not use deception if they had a contract with such nation that they would be lawful citizens.

This is a deceptive statement made by certain anti-Islamic site. The treaty is the Treaty of Hudaybiyah between Muhammad (Medina) and the Quraish (Mecca). It promised a 10 year peace period, but a year later, Banu Bakr clan of Quraish attacked Banu Khuzaa of Mecca. The Prophet gave them several choices to break their alliance with Banu Bakr, but they chose to dissolve the treaty, and that's when the battles started, and is the source of the so called "violent verses," in which the Muslims were told to attack those who broke their treaty and reneged their promises.

And what does it say about kidnapping young non-Muslim girls from their families to be sold to slavery or fixed into marriage to make them Muslim?

What does it say about stoning a woman to death for the crime of being raped by groups of men?

Surah 4:19 specifically forbids the kidnapping of women.

There is no punishment for rape victims. If you are referring to the Saudi gang-rape case, not only did the women confess to having a relationship with the man she was found with in her car and claimed rape so her husband didn't find out, but the Saudi king eventually pardoned her. Same with the Norwegian woman in Dubai.

When a man wants to know anything about the others, who do not know, must be left to the vision that was planted in his mind, and stay on the fence, and learn about the others from their original sources, and hear from them, not about them from people may hate them or they do not have their full background, then decide.

We say this and we have had the means of knowledge, and to communicate with others, and there is no need for intolerance in the dialogue, if we want dialogue.

If you have doubts or questions, you can contact and communicate with specialists of affaires of the others from themselves , on the condition to be aware of the real informations.

Islam came to protect five things, religion, mind, offspring, the human soul, money.
And so it has ordered the orders to protect these things, and forbidden things detrimental to these things.
Islam oreder honesty and integrity and respect for charters and covenants, trade and learning.
And denied murder and treason and breaking the covenant and adultery and cheating and insults and ridicule from others.

Perhaps one of the Muslims do not abide by these rules, this does not mean that Islam orders so

The ethics of deception is not a true Muslim, that Islam is a Muslim raises the honesty, even in the harshest conditions, because it makes a Muslim fears only from God, not afraid of humans, if the work was wrong to take his punishment or pardon. As long as the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him ordered to tell the truth and the fulfillment of the Covenant.

No deception, not in doctrine and not in the whole of life
And if so, for he was able to spread Islam in all the earth by deception without the presence of torture to his friends by Qurysh (people of Makka )

the Prophet Muhammad said that he was sent to complete favor of ethics

The people of Mecca who are breaking the covenant (who was with them the Covenant), that the conditions laid out in the document was on the side of the Quraish against Muslims, and even though it accepted the Prophet Muhammad because it was an order from God Almighty, despite rejection of many of the companions of this document.

Manifestation of the fulfillment of the Covenant, the terms of the document was that if people wanted to enter into the religion of Muhammad (Muhammad should return him to his family in Mecca), and if one wants to enter into the religion of Quraysh (Quraish not attributed to return him the Prophet Muhammad)
Then one of the new Muslims came and wanted to enter with the Prophet, the Prophet refused it because he wanted to fulfill the Covenant.
And when the Quraish overturned document, did he kill the people of Mecca, the prophet Muhammad said to them just go and have the Freedom
Did not kill and not being unfair and did not rebuke
