Yes, the Torah is not a part of Christianity.

There is very little violence in the NT, and nothing compared to the Qur'an and Sunnah.

Whenever religions take a God from another, they usually re-write the rules, and Christianity is no exception, however it was a turn for the better..It was Islam who threw the God back in the gutter.

And the writings of the OT are not the word of God, most can be traced to the authors but many are lost to history.

What?

It makes no sense to you that the God of the Old Testament and his word is not the same God of the New Testament, two different Gods, two different words huh?

The old Testament is not the word of God to you is it?

You called the Old Testament a snake.

You are speaking about the word of God.

I have seen a lot of things, but that was the first time I had seen a Christian take it that far.

The word of God is a snake to you?

What am I lying about?

I saw what you wrote Jim.

Was I wrong?

Once something is posted, it doesn't matter if the person comes back and edits, it is still there.

So am I wrong?

Or was it somebody else?

Maybe it was somebody else.

The OT is a Christianized version of the Tanakh, they are not the same. Follow?

Pleased to see your input. I agree the OT is not Jewish, A purely Christian invention to give credence that Jewish Scripture prophecized Jesus(a.s.)

One reason Muslims do not recognize the OT as Scripture, but recognize the Torah and Pslams as scripture.

The only difference is translation errors, the OT is mostly in Hebrew, while there is some aramaic and Greek.
The order, and content, of the books is the same.

some Christian sects eliminate some of the books.

Also the order of some of the books is different and the OT does not contain the oral teachings that are a major part of understanding the Tanakh.
