One reason Muslims do not recognize the OT as Scripture, but recognize the Torah and Pslams as scripture.

I chose it for the simplicity of the chart and not the context of the weblink. It would take a volume of typing to explain the differences.

some Christian sects eliminate some of the books.
The Tanahk is Aramaic written in Hebrew lettering. For the most part it is not common everyday Hebrew. The sections after the Torah are extremely different. They are not the same in order, content & context. They are not the same.

The Oral teachings is the Talmud. The Talmud is to the Tanahk as the Hadith is to Quran (loosely).

There are two Talmuds. The Middle Eastern version that I follow called the Yerushalmi and the European version called the Bavli.

There are two Christianities. The one that the Copts of Egypt follow which is more dated and connected to the time of JC and there is the most common one which is the European version.

I believe there are more than that.

Just another example of the insanity of religion.

Thank you for the correction. More verification a non-Jew should not try to explain Judaism

You are correct the analogy between Hadith and Talmud is a good comparison.

This is the Islam forum, I'm not going to explain Christianity as it existed 2000 years ago and the changes it went through 300+ years later and culminate in the nearly 100 versions that exist now. The psychology of any religion is to bring people together. It's basically a rule book for a club to follow. change the rule book and one changes the club.

No problem. And if you have time you could fly here and watch the Camel races this weekend (or the car show next weekend). I'd have no problem getting you a comp stay at the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah hotel. It's evening, so its time to go out.
