The Islamic State is an enemy of Muslims. They are just as much if not more our enemy as they are an enemy of non-Muslims.

They do have a goal of taking over the Mideast especially Saudi Arabia and forming Islam into an organization and with them self as head of their organization they are calling the Islamic State.. They have killed and tortured non-Muslims they have killed many more Muslims. Islam will not form into an Organization until Jeus(a.s.) returns and He with the Medhi desrtroy the Anti-Christ and form the next and final Caliphate.

As the claim to be Muslim they are accepted as being Muslim (We do not have anything like excommunication, as no body joins Islam, we are not an organization) We have no organization to kick anybody out of. No one joins Islam. A person either practices Islam or they don't. there is no ordained clergy, no membership, no central living human leader, no Islamic authority etc.

The point is there are quite a few of them - and I'd argue, they have some measure of tacit support, from many who wouldn't carry out the same atrocities themselves.

The Islamic State is self supporting through their own criminal activities.they operate much like a business and are generating considerable income. Illegal income, but a very large income. They have no need for outside supporters although many of their fighters seem to come from foreign nations.

Experts consider that Islamic State is the richest and most sophisticated in financial matters terrorist organization in the world. Examination of documents shows that the economic management of this structure corresponds not only to the practice of financial community organizations such as economic systems of modern states. Moreover, there is the economic system of a belligerent state. Today Daesh has introduced a separate currency and founded its own banks. Daesh attracts qualified staff. And this is a signal for us: 'economists, managers, oil workers and energy workers. By means of the Internet, the Islamists post information about vacancies in the Islamic world. Daesh employs servicemen of all specializations, oil workers of all specializations, linguists and translators, doctors and physicians', Kochubey says. According to information, today Daesh controls 40% of the arable lands in Iraq, where wheat is grown. Wheat provides food security. I wouldn’t be surprised if they post vacancies for skilled agronomists in the near future.

According to Western specialists’ assessments, the head of the Financial Intelligence of the USA, the daily income of the jihadists from the sale of smuggling oil exceeds $1 million a day. The organization controls 6 out of 10 oil fields in Syria, as well as not only fields in the occupied regions of Syria and Iraq, but also oil rigs in the east of Libya.

According to the German intelligence service BND, while the the oil price on the global market is 80 dollars a barrel, Daesh sells it at a price of 25 dollars, giving it a steady income.

The second source of income is taxes and fines on controlled territories. 'Taxes were established in the areas under control of the quasi-state. The tax is 10% of the income. It is paid by almost all companies. Any buyer makes an additional pay of 2% with every purchase', Kochubey said.

According to experts, trading in stolen artifacts and historical treasures is in third place. The fourth point is the direct plundering of the occupied territories. 'Moving through the territory of foreign states, IS captures the banks and bank vaults. A lot of real gold and foreign exchange reserves with completely different nominals came under their control', the expert says.

The fifth item of income is hostage-taking, human and human organ trafficking. The sixth is customs duties. And finally the seventh is sponsors’ contributions.

Legion of foreign fighters battles for Islamic State

May 20, 10:23 PM (ET)

By JOHN-THOR DAHLBURG and MISHA DZHINDZHIKHASHVILI
PANKISI GORGE, Georgia (AP) — One day this April, instead of coming home from school, two teenagers left their valley high in the Caucasus, and went off to war.

In Minneapolis, Minnesota, a 20-year-old stole her friend's passport to make the same hazardous journey.

From New Zealand, came a former security guard; from Canada, a hockey fan who loved to fish and hunt.

And there have been many, many more: between 16,000 and 17,000, according to one independent Western estimate, men and a small number of women from 90 countries or more who have streamed to Syria and Iraq to wage Muslim holy war for the Islamic State.

We also both believe that it is not a goal that can be reached until Jesus(a.s.) returns and establishes a Kingdom (Caliphate) of Peace on Earth.

Few non-Muslims want to live near a mosque, see women veiling their faces or have Muslim practices introduced into state schools. Few non-Muslims want lots more Muslim immigrants.

Here in the USA historically the spread of Islam has been through conversion, not through Migration. The massive immigration since 9/11 has been out of the ordinary.

This is temporary as the US has strict linitations on immigration from the Mideast.

The approval to allow 10,000 Syrians has sent shock waves throughout the US, and many of the Syrian immigrants wont be Muslims, many perhaps most will be Christian.

Not very long ago when the Viet-nam war ended we allowed 800,000 Vietnamese refugees enter and no disaster occured. We still speak English, we did become Buddhists not did we start supporting the Viet-Cong.

While the numbers of Muslims in the US has increased the percentage has dropped consideragly from what it was in the Early 2800s when at least 25% of the US population was Muslim (Mostly Slaves)

As far as living near a Mosque. Most Mosques in the US are unrecognizable as being a mosque. the typical American mosque is a spare room in somebody's home and used only by family members. While there are about 2,300 Mosques in the USA only the largest 100 or so are recognized as being Mosques Most are inconspicuous and you would not be aware if your neighbor has a Mosque in his house for his family usage.

In the 1940s, the Muslims wee asking "Why is Christianity so violent?"

During the first half of the 20th century, virtually the entire Muslim world was occupied by European Christians with guns, claiming it all for themselves. The Muslims quietly tolerated it, in accordance with their culture's doctrine of peaceful hospitality and generosity.

In most Muslim countries today, the crime rate is ridiculously low, they live at peace with each other. But sometimes a few radicals get impatient when Christian-controlled governments and/or corporations think they can just come into Muslim countries and spread their high-profit ideas, which include alcoholism, drugs, pornography. It amazes Christians that a few radicals amont the otherwise peaceful Muslims don't like being kicked around and taken advantage of, and they ask why Muslims are so violent.

Please, before posting to threads like this, go to a Muslim county (there are a couple dozen to choose from, from Senegal to Indonesia), spend a week or so doing what interests you as a traveler, and then comment on this topic from the standpoint of a person who has seen or experienced "Muslim violence" first hand.
