Words can be violent weapons, too.

This.

A saying that's long been a favorite of mine: Liberty is not license to do whatever you want to do. It is the freedom to do what you ought to do.

Rights entail responsibilities.

Sure it was.

That is why racists and pornographers are free to express their opinions in our wonderful country.

Of course, we have decided we will not allow certain kinds of pornography, but they still have a lot of freedom to do most anything they want.

Who even knew who Charlie hebdo was tell us Muslims reacted violently to his cartoons and brought lotsss of media attention on him?
The best thing to do with trolls is to deprive them of the attention they crave. What would happen to the Westboro Baptists if people just ignored their ridiculous protests? They'd stop holding the protests. They thrive on the conflict and the anger they create. They feed on the hate. That's why they keep doing what they do.

That's why I refuse to side with Charlie Hebdo. I don't side with racism and hate speech. Sometimes a story doesn't have a good guy. Charlie Hebdo versus terrorists is one of those stories.

Why was Charlie Hebdo not a good guy?

He didn't do anything wrong. He published cartoons to make people laugh.

My religion isn't respected by Muslims, my religion includes freedom of speech and ridicule (not freedom to incite unnecessary violence nor unnecessary panic, but those who commit the violence or panic should also be held responsible for their improper actions). In my religion that I hope they would respect, and stop making a mockery of by ignoring it's teachings and it's practitioners, ridicule is never anything that is meant to "incite" someone to violence nor panic, actually "wanting" the violence and panic would be the just criteria for that. No one wants violence upon themselves, I would think.

Verbal is verbal, but it does reach in to illegality sometimes, just not when it has to do with comics and fools. Those who kill or oppress our fools are oppressing our freedoms and oppressing us, that is the worst kind of insult to me and my religion.

And the Bible told Christians to burn witches and fight-out heretics.

...the insult which is bibliolatry and oppression is indeed grave! No one forces you to listen, no one forces you to see, no one forces you to speak, no one forces you to act. Three Monkeys who have maimed themselves out of irrational fear: One becoming deaf, the other blind, and the last becomes a mute. The deaf becomes dumb by virtue and blind by staring at the Sun. The blind hit their head too often on the Earth and become deaf, and dumb by virtue. The mute is left powerless over both of the dumb, and made blind and deaf by them in a quarrel.

Kung Futzi:"Look not at what is contrary to propriety; listen not to what is contrary to propriety; speak not what is contrary to propriety; make no movement which is contrary to propriety"

As we continue, Angels fight Satan. A message is not the same as a violent act of retribution.
