Because Islam isn't a pagan religion as it is based upon Judaism and Christianity.

Thank you Linda_d
You are correct.
Actually we believe Islam is the same religion as Christianity, Sabeeanism and Judaism except the errors have been removed.

Islam is not a new religion. We believe in basically the very same things Christians and Jews believe in.

malcolm x - speeches > black man's history

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad says that all the time that this was going on there was no white man. The white man was nowhere on the scene. He says that when the moon was blasted away and we came along with the Earth, one tribe was in fact destroyed. Prior to the time that the explosion took place there were thirteen tribes. In the explosion set off sixty-six trillion years ago the thirteenth tribe was destroyed and then all of the time down through the wheel of time since then there were twelve tribes until six thousand years ago. And six thousand years ago, a scientist named Yacub created another tribe on this Earth.

Understand, prior to the time the explosion took place, there were thirteen tribes, but the thirteenth tribe was destroyed in that explosion and then six thousand years ago another tribe came on the scene. It was made different from all of the twelve tribes that were here when it arrived. A new tribe, a weak tribe, a wicked tribe, a devilish tribe, a diabolical tribe, a tribe that is devilish by nature. So that before they got on the scene, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad says that when we came with the Earth, the oldest city on the Earth is the Holy City, Mecca, in Arabia. Mecca is the oldest city on Earth. Mecca is the city that is forbidden. No one can go there but the black man. No one can go there but the Muslims. No one can go there but the believer. No one can go there but the righteous

I have seen other material like this before.

You will find that the NOI was founded in Detroit, Michigan, on July 4, 1930, by Wallace Fard Muhammad, who claimed to be the Messiah of Judaism and the Mehdi of Islam. In 1931 he proclaimed Elijah Poole (Honoranble Elijah Muhammad) his Prophet and successor. Upon the disappearance of Wallace Fard The Honorable Elijah Muhammad became the supreme leader of the NOI.

The Teachings of the NOI are considerably different from any other group that calls them self Muslims.

The NOI is noted for it's prison ministry and virtualy every prison inmate conversion to Islam has been to the NOI.

Enemy in all the camps.
I first saw this when a friend of mines dad gave him a book to read. I read a few chapters and my jaw dropped. It was solely focused on race. Sad that people would be so oppressed that liars unified them to serve. But its not like its anything new. Like Solomon said,"all is vanity"all has been done under the sun."

Didnt know if you heard anything about this.

Quite a bit of Jewish scripture is in agreement with Islam. Thereis also a lot in Jewish srupture that is not memtioned in the Qur'an. The main question is how much is translated properly.
Hebrew had ceased to be a generally spoken language at about the time the book of Isiah was written. gradually by the first century AD the meanings of many Hebrew words were forgotten

Another issue is the Jews did not accept all of the Prophets sent to them They denied John the Baptist and Jesus as being Prophets (PBUT)

Quite a few NOI convert to Islam when they try to go to Mecca for the HaJJ.
Some notable ones being Malcolmx and Muhammad Ali.

For very many North Americans The NOI is what they believe Islam to be.
The Muslim prison ministry is NOI and that is what often gets the most publicity as Islam in North America.

What is known is that the meanings of some of the word have been lost. Since we are certain some parts have been lost we do not know how much that remains was the actual original revelation.
No matter how small the error may be, there is still error and there may be more we are not aware of.

But the greatest error is they failed to accept John the Baptist and Jesus as Prophets (PBUT)

One of the biggest verifications of the Jewish Scriptures not being the protected word of God is how they evolved to become the OT of Christianity.

Using a Jewish site:

Quote:
Jerusalem scholars trace Bible's evolution
Hebrew University researchers have been quietly at work for 53 years on one of most ambitious projects attempted in biblical studies – publishing authoritative edition of Old Testament

Jerusalem (AP) – A dull-looking chart projected on the wall of a university office in Jerusalem displayed a revelation that would startle many readers of the Old Testament: The sacred text that people revered in the past was not the same one we study today.

An ancient version of one book has an extra phrase. Another appears to have been revised to retroactively insert a prophecy after the events happened.

Scholars in this out-of-the-way corner of the Hebrew University campus have been quietly at work for 53 years on one of the most ambitious projects attempted in biblical studies – publishing the authoritative edition of the Old Testament, also known as the Hebrew Bible, and tracking every single evolution of the text over centuries and millennia.

And it has evolved, despite deeply held beliefs to the contrary.
