Bismillaah ir Rahmaan ir Rahiim In The Name of Allaah The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful As salaamu alaykum The Peace Be Upon You (all).

I've just begun to read what is already a very interesting book. I couldn't resist the urge to pass it along to others.

If you've started to read 'The Brother of the Prophet Muhammad' [SAW], then you don't require an introduction to the following video;

first of All, Ali may Allah be pleased with him is the fourth Khalifa and cousin of prophet Mohammad (PBUH), Ali had not been called Imam in the sense that I believe you mean except by Shi'ite. thus, they established a new cult based on this word _ Imama or leadership to be conceived by non-Arabs.

I did not read this book but I saw the name of the author and I believe he is Shi'ite and not expressing the true Islamic teachings .

Ali, alayhis salaam, is referred to as the brother of Prophet Muhammad. This saying is from the Prophet Muhammad [SAW] himself. He [SAW] also chose Fatima, Hassan and Hussein as His [SAW] progeny. Note that this does not include everyone in the Prophets [SAW] household, nor does it include those in His [SAW] tribe.
I haven't finished this book. And I've also started an e- four volume "The Life of The Prophet Muhammad" [SAW]. What bothers me is the fact that the Prophets [SAW] progeny, is not mentioned, in the prayers of all Muslims. This is something that I've gleaned from reading various books, et cetera.

Let's not get in to a Shia-Sunni debate as that should be left to the scholars of Islam. However note that we (Sunni's) mention the family of the Prophet (saw) in Tashahud where we say in transliteration, "Allahumma salee ala Muhammad wa ala-alee Muhammad kamma-salaita ala Ibrahim wa ala-alee Ibrahim innakahamidun majeed. Allahuma barak ala Muhmmad wa ala-alee Muhammad kamma-barakta ala-Ibrahim wa ala-alee Ibrahim innakahamidun majeed."

Translated as, "Oh Allah give peace on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as you gave peace on Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim, you are indeed Glorious, exalted. Oh Allah give blessings to Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as you gave blessing to Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim, you are indeed glorious, exalted."

I lean heavily toward the Shia point of view on many issues. However, I see nothing wrong with having an opinion of ones own, that does not contradict the Noble Qur'aan.

Some prayers mention "followers" others mention "wives" of Muhammad [SAW]. See "A Hand Book Of Islamic Prayers" by Hafiz Ibn Al-Qayyim. And, "The Muslim Prayer Book" by Maulana Muhammad Ali.

in Islam no one is special I believe this is the core of the cult but Shiite got a derivation from Persian culture the notion of semi-God ruler, there is no problem if they used Arabic word for it ( Imam).

I would like to ask you about the other brother of Mohammad peace be upon him, Abdullah ibn Abbas and other cousins, why you neglect them ? also sons of Hassan son of Ali ? what was their fault to look over them? we as Muslim consider that all wives of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), his Muslim cousins are among Ahle Elbait. but Shiite do exclude all except Ali+Fatimah+Hassan+Hussain and his sons? is there any evidence from Quran or Sunnah ? No

I know of no semi-god rulers in Shi'ite theology. I cannot even imagine such, existing among Shi'ites.

I suspect that it would depend on whose history one reads. Of course you might already know, that Islam has been infiltrated by the enemy. There are twelve Imams, having descended from the Prophet Muhammads [SAW] Ahlul bayt . Included therein is; Ali, Fatimah, Hassan, and Hussein. The short video below, gives the names of the Imams, and what became of them. It is neither Sunni nor Shia, I would think.

That video explains Ithna Asharriyah (Twelver) Shi'a thought. The key difference above all else between a Shi'a and a Sunni in regards to Islamic Jurisprudence is that the Sunni will accept the testimony of *all* of the Prophet's companions whereas the Shi'a will limit their selection to Ahlul-Bayt.

How for instance they reject the testimony of Aisha (ra) when she was the wife of the Prophet (saw) is beyond comprehension. In the Qur'an Allah (swt) states, "The Prophet is closer to the Believers than their own selves, and his wives are their mothers. Blood-relations among each other have closer personal ties, in the Decree of Allah. Than (the Brotherhood of) Believers and Muhajirs: nevertheless do ye what is just to your closest friends: such is the writing in the Decree (of Allah)." (Quran, 33:6)

So how could we reject her as some sort of liar or invalid commentator on what the Prophet (saw) said, did or how he lived his life?
