It saddens me that 9 people had to lose their lives in such a tragic way, I offer up prayers to their families and I am saddened also by the actions of a misguided young man who was the cause of such a tragedy,I offer prayers for his family also. I often wonder how we, as a people have gotten to such a state to where we let our misguided feelings create such tragedies.I think it's time that we as a people came together as one, one race, the human race.
Very true, We are all one people and have one creator. We all are Brothers and Sisters in Humanity. We all need to realize that those needless deaths were our Brother's and Sisters. We all lost it is sad there are some who will not understand they lost a relative.

Wa-do for the reminder.

Woodrow, I have always enjoyed reading your posting and the others who have posted so far on this thread. I can't say that I am a particularly religious person, but I do believe that there is something amazing waiting for us to experience at the end of our days. Reading your thoughts and of the others is helping to bring my thoughts to a greater focus.

I do wish for you, your family/friends, a meaningful holiday that helps you in your journey.

Thom

Thank You Thom.

May you experience peace always,

One person does not have the right to tell another how to worship or not worship, no one should accept any belief as true, unless they them self have have questioned, investigated and found verification through their own searching. Beliefs are too important to put in the hands of another person.

I doubt the end of this physical realm is the end of our existence. but that is not the reason I follow Islam. I follow because I believe a Supreme Deity exists and the best joy in life is to Worship him. the hereafter does not really make any difference to me. I would still worship even if I believed death was final.

Your Arabic is very good. That is a very good translation and it does entail all aspects of the Arabic connotations

Thank you for the reply, that is the proper response.
