Like I said, you seem to be the only poster who thinks they have the responsibility to brag about the fellow members of their religion.

When on Lthuanian forums I brag about my fellow Lietuva Lipkas.

I also have been known to brag about my fellow Americans.

I strive not to belittle anyone that is not Muslim, or American, or Lithuanian. I see all people as equals.

I do not go into other faith forums and brag about Talented Muslims there. although I seldom post on non-Muslim religious forums, when I do I hope it is to say something positive about people of that faith.

You are high, or just plain lying, which is certainly allowed and encouraged in your religion to pacify any non Muslim questioning or pointing out its glaring imperfections.

So Saudi Arabia is obviously not an Islamic nation *snort!* and neither is Yemen, Quatar, Brunei, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, U.A.E. etc....

Puleeze!

I should mention you are correct in one aspect. Saudi Arabia has never had a female Head of State. However in the past prior to the 1932 conquest by the al-Saud Family and the formation of the Kingdoof Saudi Arabia, the Arab nations that existed in the past often had female Heads of State.

While the KSA is predominantly Muslim it is not an Islamic Nation. It is an Absolute Monarchy fully owned and governed by the al-Saud Family. The laws are the laws of the al-Saud family.

Saudi Arabia is an absolute monarchy?

This does not mean it is good or bad. The al-Saud family has some very nice members and it's share of not very good, with the majority being about the same as the average person found anyplace on Earth.

But Saudi is an absolute Monarchy and like all absolute monarchies all things are the property of the "Royal Family" and fully governed by one family

The good part is the new generation seems to be more progressive and are more flexible then their parents.

Trivia-- I am very near to being the same age as the KSA, it being formed just 8 years before I was born

Under the last king and the present one, women have been gaining a louder voice in the running of the country

I believe the original sarcasm was related to the above claim.

Your presentation of a list of famous Muslim women is insignificant.
In any case as you have agreed the progress of these women has nothing to do with Islam per se.

I believe you are correct the sarcasm was directed at my claim. However there had been numerous female rulers on the Arabian peninsula prior to the conquest in 1932 by the al-Saud family and the the formation of the KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia)

Many of us view the al-Sauds as invaders and the occupation of Hijaz and Nejad by them illegal.

I regularly find your posts jolt me out of the rather prevalent views about Islam. Regrettably you are about the only Muslim that does.
