I saw this video. The bible is in agreement with the Quran but I don't think most Christians believe that one. Is this a common Muslim belief?

The above proposition is not relevant to the arguments of the OP.

The OP claimed according to the Quran, the Earth is fixed and the Sun revolves around the Sun in a general perspective.
As such this is a general empirical claim.
Therefore to counter this claim we have to use the same basis, i.e. an empirical claim of the same sense.
When we use the same common empirical sense, it is obvious the Earth revolves around the Sun based on an orbit which is not round but an elliptical orbit which is not fixed as spiraling within the galaxy.

The general point is the Earth is spinning on its own axis and at the same time orbit around the Sun, not as claimed by the Quran re OP above as remaining fixed while the Sun revolves around it.

The point is the Quran is based on ignorance and psychological desperations that only has some eschatological and soteriological utility while at the same time contribute to evils and violence. The Quran is not meant to be a basic book for Science 101.

From another perspective, the Sun is not fixed permanently in a point but revolves in an orbit within the galaxy and the galaxy itself is also moving in some sort of orbit, and so on. Such a point is irrelevant to the OP.

So, the OP if false when they claimed according to the Quran, the Earth is fixed and the Sun revolves around the Sun within the general perspective.
