Generally a dictionary will include words that are commonly used with consensus by a large group without intellectual and rational consideration.
Many other irrational words, e.g. 'God' 'ghosts', fairies and the likes appear in dictionaries.
As such it is only by common usage 'Islamophobia' is included in the Webster Dictionary but the word 'Islamophobia' is an intellectual bankrupt and bastardized word.
Those who use such a word are thus intellectually bankrupt.

We can always count on the dictionary-checkers to "confirm" that today's goofy words-of-the-year have been added--uh, generally because they're used.
Spare us. Tacking "-phobia" onto anything and everything doesn't lend legitimacy to inane terms. And trying to lay a guilt trip on people with legitimate concerns by attributing a "phobia" (where's the snooze smiley?) to them, isn't going to work, either.

I do admit the "Dancing Boys" of Afghanistan are a disgrace to the country. In any other Islamic Nation the purveyors of such would be subjected to the death penalty, which of course would bring about condemnation from the non-Muslim world.
As for rioting I have seen some serious and bloody rioting among almost all people. The 1960s-1980s where quite a violent time here in the US. To those who were adults in that time here is a reminder:

Yes the terrorism done by Muslims is bad and must be stopped. But we here in the US have much bigger problems in our own back yards and even in our own cities.

There is a big difference.
The potential of evil from SOME Muslims who are evil prone is worst than most of the other non-Muslims problem in the US.
The main difference are as follows;
1. What drives the non-Muslims and secular problems is human nature and psychology which can be changed in time with knowledge and technology. Thus there is room for improvements and reduction of the secular evil. The US has improved tremendously in terms of slavery without any help from religions [some religion condone slavery] and progressing with racisms and other secular evils.
2. What drives SOME Muslims who are evil prone in the US to commit terrible evils and violence are immutable [cannot be changed nor edited] evil laden verses [DUCK-RABBIT] in the Quran. At present the Quran-inspired is not significant and prevalent in the US.
Since the evil potential is always there, and as the Muslims population in the US get larger the potential evil will definitely manifest greatly in time. Note the example in Europe where there is a correlation between the number of Muslims and the number of terror attacks and other evils.
3. It is not only of increasing number of Muslims in the US itself, but the increasing activities of other evil prone Muslims around the world will have an impact on the Muslims in the US plus the insurgent of non-US-Muslim into the US to commit evil, e.g. 911.
The critical solution for humanity in respect of Quran-inspired evils is for all the Muslims and the majority of non-Muslims to know the effective root causes and deal with them effectively.
