The Quran is The final Holy Book From Allah to all mankind
and it is considered the constitution and the Laws that must be comply by every one in this world
it is more 1400 years old and it also contain stories and kind of history events and hints and signs to scientific facts
these scientific facts are considered miracles because it could not be told by any human being at that time 1400 years ago,

also they are considered proofs against non believers who do not believe in the creator or those who do not follow Islam .

in this place the The Romans was defeated by the Persians in about 1400 years ago.
and this place is the Lowest Place On Earth.

and the Quran mentioned that it is the Lowest Place On Earth in the following verse.
Alif, Lam, Mim.
The Romans have been defeated
in the lowest land....................... The Noble Quran. 30.1:3

This is no big deal.
Obviously any Tom Dick and Harry can see that area is very low because it is factually low relative to the surrounding areas.

If the Greeks were historically defeated in the specific area, then there is no issue if "adna" refer to "low" or 'lower' is reasonable.

But for any one to insist 30:3 specifically stated 'the lowest place of Earth' is a big stretch.

Note:

[The Monotheist Group] (2011 Edition]
30:3 At the lowest point on the Earth. But after their victory, they will be defeated.

Ali Bakhtiari Nejad
30:3 in the lowest part of the earth, and they are going to be victorious after their defeat
To put in in "the lowest point of the Earth" based on recent knowledge demonstrate deceit and confirmation bias.

What is critical within 30:1-6 is Allah's promises that will favor Muslims, i.e. in this case 'victory' at all times.

Quote:
30:6. It is a promise of Allah [to Muslims]. Allah faileth not His promise, but most [the infidels] of mankind know not.
The term "adna" has no critical significance within chapter 30, other than for those with low self esteem to twist it for personal psychological reasons.

Muhsin Khan
In the nearer land (Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine), and they, after their defeat, will be victorious.
Pickthall
In the nearer land, and they, after their defeat will be victorious
Yusuf Ali
In a land close by; but they, (even) after (this) defeat of theirs, will soon be victorious-
Shakir
In a near land, and they, after being vanquished, shall overcome,
Dr. Ghali
In the more adjacent (i.e., more easy to reach; the Levant) (part) of the earth. And even after their being overcome, they will overcome (the others)

Really? Well, none of the Islamic scholars and translators used 'low or lower' and certainly not 'lowest point on earth'.

So why would YOU decide to use LOWEST LAND and imply it meant 'lowest point on earth'.

Do you think you know more than the Islamic scholars?

That is strange that translators are translating adna as near. that does not make sense. Using an Arabic dictionary and looking at the definition of أدنى One gets.

There is no implication of near in the Arabic definition. The Arabic definition translated into English, depending upon the tense or part of speech it is used as, has the following meanings

Minimum, smaller

Lower , lower , weak , and sickly

Low, minimum, weak , faint , villainous , decadent

Lower , lower, smaller , related to the minimum

Minimum, younger

The lowest , depression, recession , a gloomy

Lower, lower , smaller

The bottom , the lowest

The lesser , lower , smaller

The lower , the bottom , the lowest

less than , minimum, at a minimum, the paunch , which is not worthy of

the lowest

In the Ayyat the word used is alardiالْأَرْضِ

which is the Arabic word for Earth. the Arabic word for land is: ard أرض which is not found in that ayyat however it shares the same root as the word for Earth alardi with a stretch of the imagination one could come to the conclusion that alardi means "The Land" but the proper way of writing "the land' is: al'ard الأرض which is very similar, except with the slight spelling difference alardi is a proper name of this sphere we call earth and al'ard is the land in general.

To be impressive it would have to clearly say the lowest place on earth. If it was the lowest place on earth, certainly that would be worth mentioning! There are low and lower places everywhere.

And, it is interesting that none of the translators said low, let alone lowest, let alone lowest place on earth.
Very sloppy of muhammed....i mean allah.
