Even if there are any of such statements, they are wrong because there are no verses in the NT that exhort Christians to go to war to kill non-Christians.

In addition, within the NT there is the absolute pacifist moral maxim of 'Thou Shall Not Kill' in addition to' love your enemies', etc. that place a limit and overriding limit on killing another human being.
Therefore regardless of how SOME Christians associate Christianity, Bible and Jesus, there is no way we can directly blame Christianity, Bible or Jesus for their evil deeds.

On the other hand, the Quran [in part not wholly] is to be blamed for the evil deeds of SOME evil prone Muslims who are directly influenced and inspired by the evil laden elements [without an overriding limit] to commit terrible evils and violence on non-Muslims and other Muslims.
Yet you will find Muslims individuals and groups that are extreme pacifists. Probably even a very large number as the majority of Muslims are non-aggressive.

I assume you will say it is only the 20% who are affected negatively by the Qur'an.

something you may be overlooking is other factors may be involved
including but not limited to:

National Culture
Poverty
Overcrowding

To verify your hypothesis you need to have a control group, that being a group who's only difference being they are not Muslim. In other words identical to the background of Muslim terrorist except being non-Muslim. ie: Non-Muslim Mid-easterners from overcrowded war torn regions
and compare the rate of violence they exhibit.

Possibly, The Yazidi in Iraq or maybe the Druze in Israel

The idea Continuum is trying to promote is that it is the Qur'an verses that are evil rather than human beings who do evil. His idea is that most Muslims (80% is his figure) are not being inspired by the Qur'an to do evil is entirely due to these Muslims being good humans. Yet in case of SOME (20% is his figure) it is not that they are bad human beings but it is the Qur'an that is inspiring them.

His idea is based entirely on this double standard.
