I believe the appropriate word for that is "caterwauling".

I think we lose our "sensitivity" as we age, old_cold.... we used to "get" that stuff... remember? I stood about 5 fedet (yep!) from Gracie Slick as she/they (as the "Plane!", not the "Ship"....) gave a free lunchtime concert at U. of British Columbia in about 1966. I also knew a whole bunch of Vietnam "dodgers" up there then; times change!

When we lived in New York, an Islamic gentalman lived in the apartment below us.I really enjoyed it when he prayed or recited the Quran it was very calming, even though I had no idea what he was saying. It was the only time I was glad we had paper thin walls, and floars(plus he never ever complained about my son being a busy and loud 2 yrold)

i posted this thread since long time (2 years ago )
it was one of my first threads in this forum and may be one of my first participation in discussion with christians on the internet ever

the reason i posted it is that i heared that nonarabs feels good when they hear recitation of quran and enjoyed with it even if they understand nothing .
i'm allready from arabs and i listen to quran and understand it from my early age , so that i can't myself feel the same experience which nonarabs feel when they hear quran

this was my main reasons to make this thread
what is funny is that i recieved non responses in the time i psoted it , now and suddenly it's come back again with many responds

thank you for sharing your positive impact , i enjoyed reading your comment
