Why is ibn arabi so little known among Muslims?
and his books and his teaching so little translated?
yet he seems to be a genius and his understanding of Islam is so deep.

He is well known among Muslims.
Are you a Muslim?
Haven't you been watching that Turkish drama about establishing of the Ottoman Empire?
Do you think Ibn Arabi learnt Islam from the Qur'an or from somewhere else?

to be a muslim in accordance with sufi islam like ibn araby or traditional islam like ibn taymiya?
or chism or ....
there are several kinds of Islam
my religion is the same as ibn araby : the religion of love :
O Marvel! a garden amidst the flames.
My heart has become capable of every form:
it is a pasture for gazelles and a convent for Christian monks,
and a temple for idols and the pilgrim’s Kaa’ba,
and the tables of the Torah and the book of the Quran.
I follow the religion of Love: whatever way Love’s camels take,
that is my religion and my faith.

But where from did Ibn Arabi learn his religion?
From the Qur'an or from somewhere else?
Do they desire a way other than Allah’s—knowing that all those in the heavens and the earth submit to His Will, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him they will ˹all˺ be returned?
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
So is it other than the religion of Allah they desire, while to Him have submitted [all] those within the heavens and earth, willingly or by compulsion, and to Him they will be returned?

And His Will is clearly revealed in the Qur'an.
If you don't submit to His Will, you are not in Islam. The flowery language of 'love' won't help you on the day you do finally submit to His Will.

for the sufi all mankind are submit to his will
for the sufi free will is an illusion
