The Palestians (Falesteens) are a mixture of Arab, Bedouin, Jordanian, Philistine, and possibly Phoenician. Some of their ancestors were there before the Jews came out of Egypt and some are recent arrivals. Although most people today consider them Arab as they seem to be predominantly Arab and speak Arabic. but at the same time nearly all will have a Philistine ancestor in the family tree.

My thoughts: There is no Jewish land and no Palestinian land. There is just 'land', and no one owns it.

The land may be controlled by the group of people who are strongest.

The land that is now called Israel used to be controlled by various middle-eastern groups, but it has been controlled by the Jews for the last 60 - 70 years.

Who will control it in 50 years? Whoever is stronger and wants it the most.

Genetic analysis and historical accounts suggest the Muslims of Palestine are largely descendents of Jews of the southern Levant, and descendents of a core population that lived there in prehistoric times.

The land was populated by majority Jews until they lost the last revolt under Bar Kochba and were banished from Jerusalem. The Romans renamed the land Palestine. The majority were Jewish. There were no Muslims till the 7th century and those living in Palestine were forcibly converted by conquest as were most people who came under Muslim rule. The Jews were there and a majority then the Christians had a presence and lastly the Muslims.

Jews and Palestinians share much of the same DNA. Many Palestinians if they look will find Jewish ancestry.

Agreed.

Islam is a religion not a race. The Muslims in Palestine did have Jewish ancestors living in the region. Same people with same rights to the land.
