The dark moon

The universal mechanism of moon phases is hinted in this one line verse

And for the moon We have appointed mansions till she return like an old shrivelled palm-leaf. The Holy Quran 36.39

The Holy Quran is full of scientific miracles and that verse is one of them.

something no one can picture unless he see it from outer space but the Quran talked about in one verse.


because the shape of the earth is like a ball,
the night would look like as ball being made over the daylight
and the daylight would look like as ball being over the night and that is described in the Quran since year 633 AD.

He has created the heavens and the earth with the truth;
He makes the night cover the day (in a ball like): and makes the day overtake the night (in a ball like):
, and He has made the sun and the moon subservient;
each one runs on to an assigned term;
now surely He is the Mighty, the great Forgiver. The Holy Quran 39:5

also the same verse tells us indirectly that the shape of the earth is like a ball.
and that that is part of scientific miracles in the Holy Quran.
