An annecdote : At that time in Yathrib (now called Medina) there were a few jewish tribes based around there. Why were these tribes even there in the first place? It was because the arrival of a prophet in the land of Arbaia was prophesied and the jewish tribes located there in order to be present when the prophet did arrive. Unfortunately for them, the messenger prophesied was not of jewish origin but rather arabic. Of course the most hard-headed amongst the tribes refused to acknowledge Muhammad even though they knew he was the final messenger. See what envy can do to a person. A few jews did accept Muhammad to be the final messenger but most did not.
Another amusing anecdote : There was a jewish leader who was very well regarded by his tribe. He accepted Islam and told the prophet about the stubborness of his tribe. He asked the prophet to test this. The prophet did this by asking his tribe "What do you think of 'so and so'? His tribe replied with glowing tributes to the fellow.."Ohh he is the best amongst the jews, noble trustworthy etc etc etc." Then the prophet announced that 'so and so' had accepted Islam. Immediately, all the glowing tributes were replaced with curses etc etc...

First of all, she is not going to be considered Muslim unless she has converted. Until that happens, she is whatever she was before she started to live with the Muslim boyfriend.

Regarding the rest of it, it is all in your choice of words. No, the congregation is not going to "judge" her in the sense that they are going to say she is "going to hell" for this or that. They leave that for God alone. God is the judge of everyone's behavior, not people. However, her living situation would absolutely be frowned upon by religious people. they are not going to tell them not to come to the mosque, but yes, some muslims if they are religious may try to exert pressure on the couple to "do the right thing". I will tell you that my DH, who was quite a non religious Muslim, and I lived together before we got married. His brother refused to come to our apartment. He also did not want us sleeping together in his apartment. This was most definitely a problem for his brother. I am sure he was fervently praying for us. My father in law, on the other hand, didn't have a problem with it and came and stayed with us at our apartment. As in Christianity and every other faith, you have varying levels of "participation" or "following the rules" if you will. Some unknowledgeable people would like everyone to believe that all muslims are strictly religious but this simply is not the case.

But anyway, to answer your question, no the other people are not going to "judge" your sister, but if they are religious, they will be very clear in their belief that her and her boyfriend's behavior is against the religion, and frankly they may look down upon them both. (if this is the type of "judging" you are referring to, then yes, she will be judged)
Mommytotwo, thank you for your response. I think my sister is drawn to Islam because she thinks she can do whatever she wants and be considered a Muslim. I think Islam reaps what it sows...don't hold your members accountable and bring reproach on the whole organization.

It's almost the same as a Jew calling a non-Jew a Gentile. For that matter, though I might be wrong here, but I believe Mormons also view outsiders as a type of Gentile.

Ok...so what do Muslims consider the terrorist Muslims to be?

Do you see where I'm confused? I don't understand how a group can consider themselves peaceful, yet accept those into the fold who are so heinously evil and ruining the Muslim reputation around the world.

If any Jews converted to Islam it is because they were forced by the sword of Muhammad. It is recorded that he killed entire tribes and villages of innocent Jews for their land, possessions and women.

Not quite accurate. Jihad will continue until all are under Islam and Allah.
