The ‘Dark Ages’ of Europe was extinguished by the Light of Islam, and the entire world has ignored the historical facts of how Europe came to power

it translated the Arabic works of Muslim Spain . A clear study of European history shows that Islam gave birth to the Renaissance, and the Muslim contributions were carried over to Europe. The ignorant Europeans of the ‘Dark Ages’ were civilized by the knowledge transmitted to them.

but today, very little appreciation is showed to Muslims who ended the ‘Dark Ages’ by spreading the Light of Learning.

I think the one who attacked this hadith didn't understand it well.

The husband is the person who care about his wife and feed her from what he eat and water her from what he drink.

The husband is the person who defend his wife and teach her what she ignore.

The husband is the person who work for his family and lead the ship to heaven.

The husband is the person who might die while he is defending his family and he will have a reward for that as the prophet prayer and peace be upon him said.

So, the prophet prayer and peace be upon him was talking about the husband not about each man marry a girl, for sometimes the man is not really a husband and he will be pushed to prison by Islamic law.

228. ...........And they (women) have rights (over their husbands as regards living expenses, etc.) similar (to those of their husbands) over them (as regards obedience and respect, etc.) to what is reasonable, and men have a degree over them. And Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

Well one thing is consistant. Religion likes to go to bed with the Great Satan of Secularism. Why do the pure as the driven snow Islamic Middle Eastern nations find it so necessary to commit spiritual adultery against Allah and spiritually fornicate with Infidel Secularist Europe, Asia and North America ??? Could it be for the same reasons Christendom has done this for centuries ??? That is the personal material enrichment of it's leadership, power and domination over the masses and elevated Social standing in this world's limelight ???

Most of today's common religious dogmas originated in Mesopotamia (Modern day Iraq) and spread out across the planet long before there was a written record in a Bible , Quran , Talmud , Bhagavad Gita, etc. Most major doctrinal belief of ALL this world's religions are identical, with of course the exception of the names, titles, terminology, and slight differences in details. Is there a more sinister origin to all of this somewhere ?????

Why did Islam stagnate in the 14th century? It has not ended its own Dark Ages yet . . . the Islamic madrassas and terrorism are the worst of the symptoms of those Dark Ages (like the Inquisition and Crusades). Universal knowledge is forsaken for religious indoctrination and ignorance. It is almost as if Islam caught the "virus of the Dark Ages" from Europe and has failed to "heal itself.".

Why is it so hard to imagine that the man was just crazy?

I mean really.

WHY?

What is the percentage of the population of this country that is Christian? What percentage of the crime in this country is committed by Christians? Why is it that everytime a Christian commits an atrocious crime the headline doesn't say "Christian man beats woman within an inch of her life" or "Christian man suspected in the brutal murder of his neighbor" or "Christian man found guilty of kidnapping, raping and murdering his 7 year old daughter while mother had an order of restraint in place".

Why?

You hear of one atrocity here committed by a muslim man and it makes front page news and of course the fact that he is muslim is the most noteworthy part of the story.

How many incidences of domestic violence are committed every day in this country by people who AREN'T muslim? Why do they do it if they arent' muslim? Because they are crazy???? But muslims do it because they are Muslim, of course, completely sane muslims.

Absolutely agree. It's not hard to see the obvious bias in the media toward Islam. If you are going to state one murderers religion then perhaps you should identify them all by their religion.

Breeding of hatred and encouraging stereotypes can hardly make for a better world or give us any hope of understanding between those of different religions.

i just began googling myself through a lot of comments on basically 2 books..

the new view on history as well as a biased and obsolete record of it should spawn much elaborate academic dispute, but may not reach a general public mired in fear and suspicion of each other's cultural development and militant powers.

hopefully the internet can still contribute to some much needed and desired reconciliation - in the light of almost irreparable damage done and raging on. much courage and integrity needed here.

Yes, at one time Arabic culture saved the West from its barbarism. That Western barbarism was, in the most part, created by Christian influence. At that time Arabic lands were more progressive than they now are. They were a gem of hope in a dismal world.

So somehow the roles became reversed and many Arabic cultures(among others) are being repressed by religion and the West, thank goodness, are free to make decisions without the consideration of stale old texts by stale old men.
