White people aren't the reason the Blacks are killing each other over in west Jackson. Take Washington Addition for an example, a neighborhood well above the poverty level, that has ALWAYS been above the poverty level. Even when the percentage of Whites outweighed the percentage of Blacks in Jackson, Washington Addition was still known as a rough neighborhood, and one that was majorly Black. Certain areas of Jackson have always been rough, regardless of race! Virden Addition is another rough neighborhood, that has always been steeped in poverty.

Only in the last few decades, have young Black teens been growing up in rough environments, with no parent figure, no authority to respond to, and therefore they go on a life of a crime eventually excepting the fact that doing time in prison is just a part of life. A LOT of teens think that doing time in prison is a part of a life, and it is not. But that's all they know! Their parents went to jail, their siblings went to jail, and so it's only natural that they go to jail as well! It starts in the home & the schools. When the parents begin to parent & the teachers begin to teach in order to give these impoverished children an education for them to go out and make something of themselves!

The parents are as bad or worse than the 'children'. That is how the children got that way. I don't believe there is an answer and it is a holocaust. A lost race of people. Successful fully engaged black people are such a small percentage of the black population.

I don't believe that most blacks even realize that other people care and wish for a positive change. It is in everyone's best interest. But the black masses seem to be focused on short term gratification. Whether it's drugs or KFC. The do not educate, take care of their health or function as a part of the greater society. One thing that is very telling is that they don't even adopt black children which is such a travesty.
Some miracle or catastrophe is possibly the only way out of the recirculating 'blame game'. And the pain I feel most is for my black friends who are not like the description above because they get it. They are participating in all that this society offers.

Another issue that hurts the lower class of the black population is the old reality of "the money is in the problem, not the solution."

As long as a large number of blacks are held down; race baiters, ministers, educators and politicians can play the "we need more money card."

Black people on the whole, for far too long have played the role of 'victim' and so after so many generations, they've mastered the art of playing the blame game and looking back to slavery, Jim Crow, or whatever they can latch onto to maoe a free association with their own current plight and a relic of the past. This is the main reason they seem to be beyond help, because they all vehemently feel entitled to "help" from everyone else but themselves.


The current PC of the nation only egregiously stokes and reenforces this fire, and so the more the rest of us say it's everyone elses fault for the current and longstanding state of black communities country-wide, the morentheir fate. Ecomes permanently sealed for time immemorial.

The problem is, as bad as a black person will seemingly rail against having to live with said fate and bemoan its injustice and hardship, the more that very same black person will sit on their hands, not go get a job, not move out of the ghetto, not try to consciously better their life of the lives of their children. Because if they were to, their arguement and expectation for others to assist and clean up the rubble left in the wake of their destructive way of life would up and disappear in a puff of smoke.


It's a vicious cycle that will never cease until the black people writ large swallow their foolish pride and accept responsibility for being lazy, apathetic, indifferent, and self-destructive. They want to take the easiest way in life, the path of least resistance. A city like Jackson is the product of taking said path writ large. That's what it nets the communities. Nothing for suffering, death and destruction. But hey, as long as they have the white man to blame for all of it, their blinders stay firmly in place, and they continue to keep what could very well be a wonderful, culturally rich city like Jackson in the filthy gutter. Same goes for the black areas of Birmingham, same goes for East Saint Louis, Same goes for Detroit, same goes for Montgomery.

When did the so called blacks get what they deserved.? Who paid them and their families for hard work lol. They offered to pay slave owners to free the slaves...kml all whites weren't slave owners but 90%+ of blacks descend from over 250+ years of unpaid for work...and beatings.! Pay em what they owed and they might care about y'all society.!

Seriously? Sadly folks, this is the mindset for a lot of Blacks, and it is just SAD. Quit bringing back up slavery. I didn't own slaves, my entire White family dating back 50-60 years into the past didn't own slaves, heck, I can't event trace that far back to see who in my family actually owned slaves! That's how irrelevant this whole slavery thing is today. Oh and another thing, you probably think the American Civil War was started over slavery ... Ha try again.

Moral of the story, leave slavery out of the 21st century, and leave it in the 19th century where it belongs.

Yes! There are many problems that still plague the black community, but there's also a point where we have to take responsibility for our own actions. Let's continue to confront true issues of racism, but let's also not point the finger at the white man for every negative situation we're in.
