Pretty awesome stuff. Exactly the type of growth needed in the Jackson area.

Fantastic! Sounds high-IQ - PRECISELY what belongs in (and what will enhance) Madison County.

Nothing has changed. L-3 Vertex aka Vertex Aerospace has been bought out by American Industrial Partners. Only the sign out front, along with letterhead and business cards will change.

Vertex is a good company.

70 more good jobs means no change? Yeah right.

It means no change in terms of a new facility/campus. There will be new jobs, mostly administrative, which in part will be filled by existing employees.

The USG contracts will continue.

This certainly isn't bad news, but nothing to get excited about.

They are a defense contractor and an aircraft repair and maintenance company. These are not low paying jobs. The people there are great as well.

I can tell you that my job is not an administrative one. I'm not disputing your post in any way, just giving you my perspective.
