Hello! My husband and I are planning a move to the Jacksonville area. My main concern is...where do we find the best Chinese restaurant??

Thanks! We have PF Changs here in Columbus, Ohio also. I was hoping to get more suggestions for local restaurants (not chains). We have several really outstanding chinese restaurants here and I was hoping to locate a few options in Jacksonville before we make the move. Some people love pizza, I love chinese food!

I am far from an expert but there's not too much here beyond the take out joints

They have a PF Changs, are there any Pei Wei's in the area? They are the smaller brother of PF Changs.

Not a joke... They are not as maybe Fancy as PF Changs. A more limited menu, but they have the lettuce wraps. You walk-in order, they find you a table, and bring the food to you. VERY Fast.

No Pei Wei's. They're slowly rolling the Pei Wei's out but for now they're mainly concentrated out West. I ate at Pei Wei last year and it's ok. Very small on the inside. It's essentially a very, very, very small, small version of PF Changs. Same food and prices. Also, the company that own PF Changs also owns Pei Wei.

The one we have by us is extremely fast in how quick you get your food. Basically, go to your table, then go get your drink and food is there within a minute or 2 of you sitting back down.

Not sure where you're moving from but we've found that Chinese restaurants in the South just aren't the same as they are in New England or out West. PF Changs is going to be your best bet.
