Thee Suns are the best team in Jacksonville! Unlike the crappy football team, the Suns win Championships! A winning team is a plus for any city, They beat the Dodgers & the Marlins.

Probably shortly after the Suns owner Bobby Bragan died on January 21, 2010.

Kids really like it because of all the activities and the players are very accessible to them. the tickets are very reasonable and the stadium food is well priced.
That to me is one of the reasons Minor ball is better than Major ball.

I think the Suns are beautiful. My favorite ones are when they are just rising up over the ocean. The moons are equally as nice as well, and I highly recommend you check them out every chance you get.

Technically they did not rename the stadium. It's Bragan field but still the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville

I've managed to go to a couple of Suns games while up in the Jax area.

Great little newer ballpark, fun experience, great fans (as minor league fans go) and cheap. Definitely worthwhile.

Next time I'm back in town I hope to catch a game at the new park. My first live baseball game was at Wolfson Park in 1963, when my father took me to see his idol, the late Stan Musial, play a spring training game there in what turned out to be the final season of his career. You never know what future stars you may see, either. I saw Nolan Ryan and Tom Seaver pitch for the Suns, and I saw Johnny Bench catch for the Buffalo Bisons - all three now in the Hall of Fame.

Bragan Grounds would be a cool name, Bragan Field would also be a nice name for the park, Kinda like the old Wolfson Park
