Jaguar Tickets?
Hey guys.....I'm really thinking of relocating back to Jax in aug after being away 12 years as i miss the Florida beaches very bad and most of my family lives in Charleston SC up the road from Jax. When i left in 95 Jax just started to rebuilt the Gator Bowl/Alltell statdium so how cool to move back and get NFL tickets. Has anyone here been to the games and whats the atmosphere like and what are ticket prices running about......
Thanks......

here is the jags website
jaguars.com: The Official Website of the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars
I have friends that go
I don't understand football enough to go to a game I need the yellow 10 yd line that you get on TV not to mention the announcers telling me whats going on.
I "live in fear" that a couple of my friends who are players will offer me tickets.
Folks do a lot of tailgating before the games and friends that go seem to really enjoy the whole experience
You should be able to get info on ticket prices form the website
I moved here in 92 you won't believe the changes since you left.
It is an amazing city

Football in Jax
Hello, Harry,
I see you don't have many answers so thought I'd give you my small bit of knowledge.
It's been many years since I went but if you are into the partying and ordeal this would be just up your alley-not mine. I like the comfort of home-no crowds or loud noises or messes.
Like MFask posted- people do tailgate parties. I've never been to one but it's a big thing.
My experience is you have to drive to parking then take a bus to get to the stadium. I don't know how you tailgate doing that. I guess you find parking and get there very very early which how you have the time to party before the game-that makes sense. (Well, it doesn't to me.)
One time I went the guy had season tickets and we took 2 children- I figured the date cost him with food, snacks, water, tickets, parking about $200. Too much for me to pay for a date -but of course, to be with me was worth it. I'm just teasing.
Enjoy your new experience. BarbieWhe

I went to a game when the Steelers came to town about 4 years ago or so. We sat at the very top. The seats were horrible but I got the tickets for free so I didn't care. It's more about partying and getting plastered. If you've ever watched the Jags home games on tv, you'll notice that at least half the crowd leaves when half time starts. Especially those with "club seats" b/c those folks are there more so for socializing. It was the same way with the Dolphin fans when I lived in Miami.
If you can, get tickets in the "Bud Zone" in one of the end zones. Those tickets cost a little more but there is a nice indoor/outdoor bar up there with outdoor seating so you can watch the game and have a short walk to the bar to get plastered even more. If you do go to a game I would recommend parking on the Southbank and taking a water taxi across the river to the stadium. Personally, I like watching games from the comfort of my home in Hi-Def on the 57in or the 106in projector screen in the comfort of my chair and a half or the sofa with 6.1 surround sound and 3 subwoofers.
I don't know the cost of tickets but you can check the Jag's website. I went to their site and all it says is that single game tickets start at 36 dollars. I'm assuming those are the type of tickets I had which would be located in what is considered the "nose-bleed" sections. The "lower-bowl" tickets will more than likely run you somewhere around 65 to 80 dollars for one ticket.

WOW I had forgot Jax has an NFL team. I am a huge sports fanatic but I, in all honesty, had forgot Jax had a football team. This is a nice surprise to say the least. I prefer collegiate football but hey I will take what I can get. I just perused the Jags website and you can find ticket prices there easily. I will tell you they are way cheaper than other NFL teams tickets. Well Fall is looking better all the time.

With all the "getting plastered", I hope someone isn't driving!! lol. Or don't park and take a taxi!!
