Hey buddy, Loveboating said he/she didn't like the traffic, I just provided a photo of it!

Hey buddy, your feelings are well documented on this area, and the photo you provided is not even in Orange Park, but of Blanding leading into the northern end of O.P. Why would you pick the most congested road in the entire state to represent traffic patterns of an area that has many, many more roads than that.

You consider this area "boring and tedious, with zero reason to visit, let alone move."

Why don't you stay in your own sandbox and quit going out of your way to be a jerk?

Springfield needs you......go back and do us all a favor.....stay there.

Ok, so if that's not the area of Orange Park the other poster was referring to when he/she said that they didn't like the traffic in in OP..........what part is?

I'm curious.

The photo is of Blanding Blvd, btw, the same road the poster referred to.

i think the 2 worst traffic jams in jacksonville are jtb and I95 and 295 and butler. butler and 295 isnt most of orange park but its the most popular way in and out of orange park so thats what everyone sees, even tho orange park is mostly not very busy

Are you confusing Butler with Blanding (I wish I could take JT Butler to 295 - I'm going to Atlanta tomorrow - but I reckon I'd need a ferry to get me across the River). Or perhaps confusing 295 with 9A (which is on the east side of the River and isn't yet officially - I think - part of 295). In any event - JTB doesn't cross the River and get anywhere near OP.

I think there are a fair number of bad intersections in town from time to time. Those on JTB are pretty much ok now that 99% of the construction is finished. I reckon the I-10/I-95 intersection can be a mess these days - especially because most GPS systems still show the I-10 exit on the left - and it's now on the right. Looks like I-95 from downtown south will be pretty messy for the next 2 years or so (a lot of planned construction). Having moved from Miami though - traffic here is pretty much a piece of cake . Listen - only in JAX could I hear a discussion like this. The traffic in the 'burbs is worse than the traffic in the city. Know why? There's nothing in the city - nothing going on in the city. Since when did a city center aspire to being "sleepy" with no traffic???? Traffic is a sign of success - that lots of people want to be in a place (did you ever go to Manhattan and diss the traffic there?). Robyn

I am 47 year Old gay married guy from Fleming Island living in Pace Island community for a last 14 years and I'm proud to say it is a lot of funny in here, people are mind open and summer is floding with pool party.
My philosophy is simple: life is more pleasant when people say hello to each other in the street.

I am living in Fleming Island, and absolutely love it here so far. There is everything you need right at your fingertips. You really don't have to go anywhere else if you don't want to. I think it is beautiful here, and to me the traffic is nothing compared to south Florida!
