Hello everyone,

My family and I are looking to relocate to the Macclenny area soon for work, we were wanting to get some information and opinions about the area. We have lived in central Florida for instance the Ocala/ Gainesville area and we're looking for a place that isn't too crazy like Jacksonville but also not too slow and small like Starke or Waldo that only has a Walmart. Aside from Macclenny we were looking at Glen St. Mary, Middleburg, Lake City, Baldwin and Brycerville. We would be looking to rent a home starting out and any information on an safe, affordable (looking at $800 - $1000 range) community or subdivison would be appreciated.
