What is the nicest place to stay on Amelia Island? Not concerned about price. Thanks!

My first choice would be the Ritz Carlton, a very close second would be the Amelia Island Plantation which was just purchased by the Omni Hotels Group. Good Luck

Yea my first choice would be the Ritz Carlton(best golf course up there), followed closely by Amelia Island Plantation (Long Point 2nd best course up there) after that it would be any of the many ocean front condos for rent between Nassau Sound and Ft Clinch

If you want ultra-fancy, the Ritz or the Plantation are the way to go.

I like this place, and unlike the above properties, it is close to downtown Fernandina (but still right on the beach.)
In the 2008 Conde Nast Traveler, it was voted #2 Small Hotel in the United States.
