What can you guys tell me about these two areas? Are they safe? Good Schools?
I'm looking for a safe, newer community and I have been keeping my search on the south east of Jacksonville but I'm not finding the perfect house in my price range so I'm thinking of expanding my area but I'm not sure to where.

Both areas have their junky spots, but by and large you'll do alright in them. Just classic suburbia really.

As for the schools... eh....

Don't be afraid of the Westside. There are some nice areas... remember Ortega is on the Westside and that is Jacksonville's Old money neighborhood. But lots of new developments on the far Westside
Orange Park has bad traffic( Blanding or US17) but if you have kids are in school you may want to consider Clay County or Private School
