You were a squid right? Doesn't the NAS have like a Navy Lodge or something that you could stay at for a couple of weeks? Seems that would be better than a flop house or a refrigerator box or the mission even.

I prefer the sketchy flophouse over walking in and out of base. Even if i could afford it, i just don't need any problems during this evolution. Later after its all over, ill be there on a regular basis though to utilize all of the free stuff like gym, exchange, commissary, etc. Whats a refrigerator box, btw?

JTA services NAS so no walking involved. A large carboard box that a refrgerator is shipped in. And that homeless people have been known to live in, and use as a pad when the mission is full, and it's bad weather out... see In Living Color/Saturday Night Live episode "Dis Ol Box" with Eddie Murphy

Ty for reply, however i am quite sure transit buses cant get on Naval installations, unless its open to the public, which would be new to me, and after checking the Navy Lodge rates, the best i can find is $27 a nite or $800 monthly. They don't negotiate, lol. Being from Oakland, im quite used to "sleeping with the enemy", so i can handle sketchy. Besides i heard, on another thread that someone arrived there by Greyhound and got a 1/1 the same day.
