Okay, is the joke on me?

I click the link and it gives a random map. I click "accept" and it has no place to enter an address. What am I missing? When I click "tutorial", I get "page not found". I am not Bill Gates, but neither am I a complete moron!

There is crime everywhere, but of course some areas have a bit less than others. And certain types of crime may be more prevalent in certain areas. But no matter where you are, you still must be prepared and aware if you want to be as safe as possible.

You can't forget about Emerson St/Phillips Hwy areas, San Diego Rd.

Ok, I clicked on "Accept" and that took me to the map. Now, there is a "starting date" and "ending date" that you either change or keep it with what it says. Then you put your mouse (arrow/hand) over the area you want to check out and click the left side of your mouse and that will bring up that area with the crime stats in the upper right hand corner. Now, this can be a little tricky since the map doesn't show all streets in the very beginning.........but, once you have the circled area show up, you can use "zoom in" to get an even closer look at the streets that are shown. It took me "clicking" on a few different areas before I finally got my circled area. If this "interactive" map is close enough to accurate, it would be a tremendous help to those moving here or thinking about moving here and wanting to know the lower crime areas.

In all my walking about n the Riverside area the only place I was ever concerned about was when I went to the Intuition Ale Micro Brewery on King Street just north of Post Street I left there in a ummm a very happy frame of mind and took a wrong turn and soon ended up near Beaver Street around McQuade Ave lets just say I sobered up real quick like. That whole area over that way North of and to the West of the Farmers Market to about Woodstock Park is kind of sketchy.

The data is updated on the first and third Monday of each month.

So any data you look at today is 1 week old but will be updated next Monday as its the first Monday of the month, as well as the 1st of August.

Would be handy if you could draw your own area to highlight for crime or if the whole map had areas shaded to show the level of crime or even let you type in an address to look up but its a great starting point

For real? Guns, Crime and Food....Lord knows I love food, and guns in the right hands or safe is not a bad thing either. But crime, crime, crime. We all know about crime, but were not talking L.A. or Detroit. And were not talking about men either. I'm talkin single men. 40 something? 50 something? You know, good lookin, fun loving, long walks on the beach kinda guy..lol...A good guy. A crime fighting, God fearing guy. Is he there in Jacksonville? If so is there a map to find him? LOL
