Expect a nice clean campground with a fair amount of no-see-ums (bugs) take spray or repellent. Also take seriously the Raccoon warnings as they will try to walk off with anything not secured properly at night.(possible food) Also expect fairly large campsites but fairly close to your neighbors. Also expect to have a great time.

We were just there the other day. Do bring insect repellent.
But wow, the driftwood is beautiful, and I watched an osprey catch a fish.

The walk to the beach is sort of far. Bring bikes to make it faster. The campgrounds are on the ICW side of the island so be prepared for some bugs

I have camped there for the past 20+ years and love it. It's a nice campground and my favorite part is sneaking into the park late at night and taking a moonlight walk on the beach.

If you're going now, better bring Off or something like it.

The only thing I dislike about Little Talbot Island is that you can no longer drive up and just pick a campsite... you have to reserve everything ahead of time.
