Hear hear, and this is one of the many reasons why we like North Eastern Florida. I know people all over south Florida and their beaches are washed away or always under lock down from a major storm and further north like the outer banks I think this sticks out too much in the Atlantic and could get hit. NE Florida is not 100% safe but more peaceful in terms of storms.

Does anyone know anything about an older condo complex in the Shores called Fairview.
It looks like a Tudor type place and has not been updated since the seventies....I found it quite charming though?

I know where they are located and have driven by them many times. I have never been in one. A new shopping center was recently built approx 1.5 miles from there. St. Augustine Shores is a nice community with sidewalks and a mixtture of many different types of housing. There's also a 30 yr old complex in St. Augustine Stores named Conquistador. They are not as close to grocery shopping but are much nicer, siting right on the river next to the community pool, clubhouse and fishing pier. The condos are very large for the money. are much nicer than Fairview.
