Fruit Cove area preschools (Jacksonville, Plantation: preschool, living, plantation)

We are relocating to the Fruit Cove area next week and I was wondering if anyone knew of some good preschools in the area? My daughter is 3.5 yrs old. I don't need full time care for her, just something for a few days a week or so. It's mainly for her to interact and play with little ones her age and give me some time to run errands and such. Hopefully, it'll be a good way to meet other moms, too! Any info is appreciated!

Hi - we live in Bartram Springs, but our 3.5 year old will be attending Fruit Cove Baptist Day school program three days a week. it will ostart after Labor Day/ There is also a Goddard School near Julington Creek Plantation of which you will be really close too as well. We have been here since April and do alot near your area.

I live in the area, too. My daughter will also be going to Fruit Cove Baptist 2 days a week (she is 2). The problem right now is going to be getting in. There are wait lists almost everywhere. Some others to try are Living Waters (a little further down on 13 past Fruit Cove Baptist), Mandarin Presbyterian, Mandarin Methodist. I know they all have waits but you could inquire or atleast maybe get on the list for future openings. I have a friend that used the Kindercare right by Fruit Cove Baptist a few times a week and was pleased as well.

We recently moved to the Fruit Cove area. My son is attending preschool at San Juan Del Rio. I am not sure if they have any space in the 3 year old program but it would be worth checking into...although we have only been in school a few days now, I really like it.

We found a great school for my nephew right in Fruit Cove, which is now central to all of Mandarin, Julington Creek, St. John's , St. Augustine, and Switzerland. Merry Pats Preschoo is awesome. Here is their website. www.merrypats.com Family owned and operated. They are super nice people, and run a safe clean facility. We have seen great improvement in the speech of our nephew. It is definately worth your time to go and check it out. Much more affordable, and just as good i promise. Good luck in Jacksonville.
