Default help moving to Jacksonville!

Hello! I am planning on moving from PA to Jacksonville hopefully around Feb 2008...I already have been applying to some jobs online and looking up places to rent as well

I was wondering if anyone knows what the average salary is for a preschool/childcare provider in Jacksonville. I have my associate degree in Early Childhood Education.

Also, I am having problems finding an apartment. I found many that look and sound great but I read reviews on them and they all seem to be very unsafe and "ghetto". I wanted to pay 600/month at the most for rent...does anyone have any suggestions of some decent places to rent??

I would love any info and help as Im kind of clueless about all of this!!

Thanks!!

I have my BS but worked in my daughters preschool last year as we just moved here and didn't want full time. $10-12 max per hour, with pathetic benefits for daycare. I saved 75% on my daughters tuition, and monthly tuition for 5 year old is about $800, so the $600 savings helped but not worth it when you can work public school for $38k per year.

Default Paradise Island

Paradise Island Apartments , 8787 Southside Boulevard, Jacksonville FL 32256 offered by Apartment Selector, Free Apartment Locator. Call 904-564-5622 for assistance.

I had some friends who lived here when they first moved to Jacksonville and they liked it.

If you need any info on St Augustine, about 20 mins south of Jacksonville let me know or visit my website St Augustine Florida Homes for Sale I have a lot of links for things in St Johns County. It's a really great place to live, more relaxed and safe! Not a bad commute to Jacksonville either.

Good Luck

Susan Dennis, Keller Williams® Realty of St Augustine
