My fiance and i visited jacksonville over xmas and loved it. we want to move there from pa. i am skeptical but want to. my concerns are leaving my job of eleven years, housing and school for our ten year old daughter who will start middle school in fall. she has aspergers and only needs a little help in math. any info any one can help me with is appreciated. is relocating just to start over a good idea or are we just dreaming. we like duval, clay or st. johns county.

Making sure you have a job(s) lined up should be priority #1. Just like everywhere else, good jobs are competative here.

I relocated in 2005 for a fresh start and i never regreted it for a moment . The only problem was what i wanted to start fresh from ? Followed me there . Lol but other then that i was very happy . The only drawback with jville jobs are that they dont pay as well as the northeast . So if you have to depend on a certain amount of money to live on ? Do your research before you go . Be safe . And not sorry. Good luck

thanks. I know the jobs pay a little less but as long as I can get in a hospital again I guess I will be happy. I used to waitress when I was younger and if I can get a job doing that just to get a job to get us down there that will be ok too
