Yes, back to wearing shorts and t-shirts again (for us older folks anyway)! We know that that darned cooler-to-cold weather can, and most likely will, return, but will TOTALLY enjoy the warm-up while it's here!

Speaking of weather, when do people usually start swimming in Jax? We have friends coming down in March and a solar heater on the pool. We are hoping to take a dip.

Depends on how thick skinned the swimmers are. There are Canadians swimming in the ocean here this week.

Yeah I have a friend whose parents are from Michigan, and they were swimming here last month. That's pushing it for me.

Mikey, when I lived in a northwest Florida neighborhood that had a solar-heated pool, I remember swimming in January. As long as the solar heater was properly working, I could use the pool.

To me the weather this week has been fine. Yes we had rain on Wednesday, but mostly we've had plenty of delightful sunshine, and I don't mind the cold nights and cool days.

Wife would love to take the boat out on the river either Sat or Sun, but I told her that the river water is still pretty cold. Last week I heard on the news that the temp of the water was around 50 or so degrees.......that's somewhat cold to be stepping in. The earliest we've taken the boat out is the last week of March. Last year we done that, got just outside of Goodby's Creek channel and turned around and came back in........to windy and rocky.
