I see theres only one, and doesnt have many good ratings . Someone have experience with the school. Good places to live nearby ?

Edit: IB elementary School is what I am looking for.

I'm not a fan of IB in high school, much less elementary. Brown Elementary is the only one in the JAX area. It is in Springfield, so there are nice places to live nearby.

Just curious , why not ? My kids aren't in school yet so I'm trying to decide what will be best and exploring all options . Thanks !

well maybe I shouldn't speak for the IB elementary track since I'm not familiar. The friends I had in it basically didn't have a high school life their junior and senior years. The ciriculum is pretty rigid and their homework/study load was more than I even had in colllege for the most part. They were also isolated from the rest of the student population for the most part. I also think that colleges view IB and AP the same. Now, if someone wants to go to school abroad for college, IB will certainly give them a leg up.
