Thanks, I like dunes too, and I will check it out. Is there a specific turn in point that I should try to catch for the most picturesque part?

I was visiting the Guana Beach (the middle beach access) and they had some cool grass covered dunes which were really beautiful. I would post pictures but I don't have them here on this computer.

The closest thing I could tell from researching would be the Blowing Rocks Preserve down in Jupiter... as far as rocky terrain stuff goes

To get to Ft Caroline you go down Ft Caroline Rd or Mt Pleasant Rd and turn where you see the directional sign that says Ft Caroline Natl. Memorial. (Ft Caroline becomes Mt Pleasant where you need to turn) Where you actually want to go is the Jean Ribault Monument just past Ft Caroline as it has the most dramatic view. (Seen Below)

I wanted to follow up on this thread and update. I have now been to Guana beach (all accesses) and I love it immensely. I find a crazy amount of shark's teeth there, too. And while it is not "cliffy," the dunes are beautiful. (Between Ponte Vedra and St Augustine on A1A, not a far drive). I also went to S. FLA and I found Blowing Rocks Preserve in Hobe Sound, FL (Its a solid 4+ hours from Jax... I hit it on the way to the Keys). It's a little misleading when you are looking at it from the entrance point, but once you walk to the edge, you see the interesting formations. Attaching pics just in case any new FL folks are interested. It takes a while to find the interesting spots. I was looking up Big Shoals state park and wondering about the limestone formations there... haven't been yet (though it wouldn't be ocean views, it sounds interesting)
