We had our first visitors since moving down to the Jacksonville area this past weekend and it was an unqualified success.

They arrived here Saturday early morning (flew in to Orlando and went to Sea World Friday before coming here). We started off with a bike ride through the Nocatee trails while others slept off the early morning drive. Saturday was lounge by the pool day ending with a trip to Clark's Fish Camp.

Sunday we headed down to St Augustine. There was a festival going on; the little brothers loved the canon firing at the fort and hanging around old town. That night we bought up a bunch of seafood and had a shrimp boil and some oysters.

Monday was going to be all-day-beach-day down at Vilano but some were a little weary so we just popped over to Mickler's for a few hours. We were going to go to Adventure Island for mini-golf then the Jax landing for dinner but again, people were tired so we went to Latitude 30, let the brothers play some games and just chilled (btw, even though the lot looks stupid-packed the place was pretty quiet).

Tuesday was boating day. We rented a deck boat at Bay Ray and tubed up and down the intracoastal, saw some dolphins near the city marina, and nearly ran-aground on the low-tide sand bars. After that we hit the Reef on the way home and turned in early so they could catch their flight out Wed.

All in all, everyone had a blast! The boys favorite activities were Sea World and hanging out at St Augustine. Next visitors arrive in about a week. Can't wait!
