Default Zip Codes around these Areas??

Hi all my husband just finished his 2nd round of interviews with a company that is located in Ponte Vedra Beach and one of the guys told him that he lives near the the 95/295 area and that it only took him 25 min. to get to work. So we were looking at Google Maps and saw a couple a different areas that look like they are in the right area. We can't afford to live in Ponte Vedra Beach so we are looking outside that area. What are the zip codes for Julington Creek, Pineland Gardens, Baymeadows area, Southside Estates, etc.? Are these good areas to live in with good schools? In all my research St. Johns County schools seem to be the best in the area. We are looking to rent at first while we get to know the area and then buy in 6months to a year. We would be looking for 4 bd. and no more than 350k. Is that even doable in this area?? Any insight and advice would be much appreciated!!

The Baymeadows 9A area and the intercoastal west area you could find what you are looking for.
I am in the baymeadows 9A area and it takes me about 15 mins to get to PV
we have 2 "A" schools elementary and middle and there is a new high school going up in the next couple years. Not to mention only minutes from the St Johns Towne center and Avenues Mall

Just to clarify:

I95 runs North and South straight through the center of the city.

9A/I295 is a loop around the center of the city. The older portion, which is generally the 'western' portion of the loop goes by the name "I295". The newer portion which completes the loop is generally the 'eastern' portion of the loop and it goes by the name of "9A".

So if your husband's co-worker said he lived by "I95 & I295" that would actually put him a bit further AWAY from Ponte Vedra. As Karla pointed out above, you can get even CLOSER to Ponte Vedra into some nice spots .

To answer your questions, as best I can:

Julington Creek Plantation zip should be: 32223

Baymeadows area: 32256

Pineland Gardens.......never heard of it

Southside Estates: Skip it; not a great area safety-wise; go further east (closer to Ponte Vedra.....see my zips below).

To be very near Ponte Vedra, in a nice, solid, family-friendly area, there are TONS of neighborhoods to choose from in your price range with what you're looking for. Try searching online in these zips (these are in the general Intracoastal West/Southside/Fort Caroline areas):

32224
32246
32225
