That really sucks. I have heard and read a lot of mold complaints about the Courtney Meadows apartments just off 9A & Gate.

Default moving to Jacksonville

I moved from California to Ponte Vedra beach in 1993 and went thru a culture chock. It is a lot more of a big city (jacksonville) now , but with that comes crime and poorschools as well. My kids go to school in Ponte vedra (St.Johns county) which has a superior school system over Duval county. Ponte vedra is considered the yuppiest area of the greater Jacksonville , therefore you will pay more for an apartment ,but it is well worth it, if you have kids in school!!!. Your travel time will be about 45 min in rush hour. The YMCA has an exellent after school program for both elementary schools. There are several great daycare centers. I recommend New beginnings preschool at the south end of Ponte vedra. It is AAA rated and it is the least expensive in the area. nothing fancy but a wounderful staff. BOth my kids have gone there,
Good luck to you and welcome to Florida
