the lady that lives across the street is also an acupuncturist
She works in conjunction with St Lukes hospital here in Jax
So I don;t know if contacting any hospitals would help

This is an area where Jax is far behind, I'm afraid . I'm going to private message (now called "direct message") you - I have some personal experience to share with you on this one (I hold a national certification in a similar discipline ).

There is a free magazine - Natural Awakenings - that can be found around Jax (around Florida, actually) and it's focused on alternative medicine, etc. This is where I'd go to find listings of clinics:

the area would be east of 95 to the intercostal and north and south between Atlantic blvd and phillips highway(rt 1)
The beaches is anything over the intercostal. It always amuses me that you do have a few folks that "say" they live at the beach even though they are east of the intercostal.
Sorry but if you don't have to cross over the "ditch" you don't live at the beach
I once had a boss that would tell people he lived at the beach, he was off of Kernan.
Folks would ask "where at the beach?" He would say "off of Kernan" lol people would just roll their eyes and give him the "yeah keep dreaming" look.

I have a friend who has been trying to get in to see an accupuncturist at his hospital for over a year. I think it is a business that people really need here in Jacksonville.

What part of Texas are you moving here from?
