Found a place called Brooklyn Pizza on Saturday. It is off of Baymeadows road at the intersection with 9A in the Winn Dixie Plaza. Had a few sicilian slices there and the dough was very good. They sell by the slice or you can order a whole pie ("pizza pie"). They also have wings, heros, calzones, strombolis, salads, gelato, and cannolis. I didn't try the gelato or cannolis, but it is really cool that they have them. It seemed to me like the workers/owner are really from "the City". They sell shirts there that say "fugheddaboudit" and they have images of Coney Island on the menu and on the wallpaper of the restaurant.

I have been to that brooklyn pizza twice I love the sauce but the regular pizza crust didn't knock my socks off I will go back and try the sicilian though thanks for the heads up
Also right in the winn dixie center is Good times grill
probably the best burgers I have every had !!!!

There's a place on southside blvd across the monstrosity know as tinsletown... a place called Abe's - the cross street is touchton.... good food... nice place... my co-worker grew up in brooklyn and he says it's decent pie... so there go...

I was a little disappointed to find no actual "tinsel" in Tinseltown, only neon & asphalt . They probably should have named it "Neontown" .

Abe's is quite good, especially their lunch buffet. A stone's throw from Abe's (over beside the Golden Corral) is Tommy's Pizza, and theirs is outstanding, too.

We like Benitos (for take-out only) in Vilano Beach and Brucci's in PVB....both pretty decent. Definitly better that Dominos, Papa John, etc....

I would have to suggest highly to try Vinnys Pizza on Beach Blvd. They are from NY and they are excellant. Being from the north myself they are definetly the closest to NY style.
