I love Rennas. I wish there was a Rennas in the Johnson City, TN area.

Had a pizza from Dominic's last night - first one since saw the ad "under new ownership" ... umm .. the jury is still out, but let's put it this way that I only ate 1 1/2 pieces rather than my normal consumption of 3 pieces.

I always liked Dominic's Pizza in Fleming Island. I didn't know they had changed owners.

Just had very poor service. When we call in a delivery order, it's never right, always cold, and the pre-teen who answered the phone numerous times left loads to be desired. For ex: Renna's hold.....wait 5-8 minutes. Uh, yeah, what can I get you? Uh huh, about an hour and he hangs up. About 1.5 hours later we get our cold pizza, inevitably with an item or two missing.
Now, that is not to say every Renna's is the same. This one was in Mandarin, and then we had the same experience in Orange Park.
IF the service was better, and my pizza was warm when I ate it...I bet it is good pizza.

here is a trick I have found when ordering delivery pizza
I always as them to "par-cook" it like they do for the pies that they sell slices of.
and not to cut it
then I crank my oven up to 450 so when the pizza gets here I just slid it out of the box into the oven to finish it off
Note this only works for the places like rennas
Pizza hut & pappa johns have no idea what par-cooked means but if you have to order these just ask them not to cut it so you can heat it up if it is cold.
lew lew if you have never been to rennas in person to try the pizza I would do this
because the best pizza is always right out of their oven
had lunch at rennas SJTC yesterday and it was very yummy

Thanks..yes...I could tell that if I didn't have to wash it down with poor service, it stood to be a very good slice of za. We've eaten at Nobles, and since it's right around the corner from the house...the pizza is piping hot when I get it. That is why I prefered them. I'll try your par-cook idea.
