It is hard to know just by a street name
I googled Maplewood Street and the one it came up with was between Beaver and Rt10 and Stockton and Mcduff the zip is 32254 If this is the area you mean I would chose elsewhere. Because of a few of my volunteer projrcts I have been in this area during the day but am not comfortable being in this area at night. |

If it's the street that karla has found, I echo Karla's post. A rough area.
And without the street address, I couldn't tell, but go to this site and add the full address. FDLE Florida Sexual Offenders and Predators |

Mandarin, the beaches, most places on the Southside. Others would throw in San Marco and Ortega.
There are lots of areas in Clay and St. Johns counties, but since you asked for Jax, then I'll limit my answers to the prior paragraph. |
