Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
Thanks, madcap, we will! Are they regular, medium-crust style pies?

Dewey's moved in maybe 5-7 years ago in Kirkwood and opened a 2nd location maybe 2 years ago.

Picasso's was good, very thin crust but almost to crisp.(burnt)

Carmines does New York style thin pizza and Chicago style stuffed deep dish. I had the NY thin and it was very good, my wife had the Chicago Deep dish and she liked it also. We each got a slice and they were huge. Here's a link ...

Someone mentioned 32208 (the area where I grew up). That zip happens to be the home of the original Joseph's Pizza, so anyone going in there with a pizza place had better bring it. They will face stiff compeition from a firmly entrenched local icon.

Joseph's is great, and is (I think) in the 32208 zip as the original poster asked about. Literally just South of the Trout River.

That area of town also has a Pizza Hut and Dominos too, so I don't think a new chain pizza shop would bring anything new to that area.

Their Atlantic Beach location has been open for a few years now.

The original Joseph's is in a small strip mall at 63rd and Main, just south of the Trout River Bridge. The last time I was in JAX most of the other businesses had gone, so it was pretty much Panama Drug at one end and Joseph's at the other.

He should just skip 2012 and join us in 2013, that will give him some time to adjust.
